alternate paths

standing with you through thick and thin...

Our life paths are often unpredictable. I can help make sure you always have the support you desire, and deserve.

CONSULTATIONS: Fee $250 for stand alone consults, discount for more than one consult.

  • Breech baby:

    • Does your baby think being head-down is for the birds? I will walk you through the Spinning Babies Breech Exercises to maximize chances of a successful version, or of baby turning on their own.

    • We can also discuss the practical aspects of ECV, alternative methods to help encourage spontaneous breech resolution, and if you like, cover cesarean birth.

  • Sibling preparation:

    • Wishing you could talk with an expert to anticipate what to expect from your big kid(s) when there's a new baby in the house? You can!

    • Learn what you might expect from older sib(s) and plan accordingly;

    • Borrow books and videos from my "sibling library".

  • Pre-birth counseling for trauma avoidance (When Survivors Give Birth Advanced Counseling):

    • Is there trauma of any sort that you are concerned may impact your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experience? There is help available to minimize trauma's role in this formative experience.

    • We will work together help you identify possible triggers during the perinatal period and strategize about how to keep them from monopolizing your experience.

FAQ regarding full-spectrum doula services:

Q: What is the price for practical support?

A: Pricing will vary according to the service you choose. My goal is to meet you where you are to ensure you have the support you need. There is no fee for preconception consults.

Q: Do full-spectrum doulas do other things?

A: Some do! I do photography as part of my support for infant loss families, and can also provide both practical and lactation support during recovery after a loss or termination. Lactation is often overlooked as something that can take place after a loss or termination. As an IBCLC, I can help you with lactation cessation or navigating pumping and milk donation.
